Recently, I came across an intriguing study. It explored the idea that “errors in ant mounds enhance productivity.” This research offers significant insights into how we think.
We usually try to eliminate errors to improve productivity. However, in nature, “random errors” play a crucial role in enhancing the overall performance of a system. For instance, a worker ant may take a wrong path but end up discovering a more efficient new route. This kind of “short-term inefficiency” can lead to “long-term high efficiency.”
If we apply this perspective to business, shouldn’t we embrace a similar approach? At Sosha, we use AI technology to optimize projects, but we intentionally incorporate an element of “play.” This is our attempt to design serendipity.
